2021 JUNE BUJO: SPACE THEME

by | May 31, 2021 | BULLET JOURNAL, SELF CARE | 0 comments

I am so excited to share with you this month’s theme! This month, I’ve decided that Space was the theme that I wanted to try out.

It is very extensive to draw but it was really fun creating this spread. I’m really happy with how it turned out. This was inspired by Freepik.

1. COVER PAGE

I started with this theme after seeing this adorable astronaut floating in space while hugging Earth amongst the planets and stars.

2. CALENDAR

As usual, I’ve chosen not to leave that much space within the calendar since I rarely use this. The space doodles were also inspired by Freepik.

3. 30 DAYS CHALLENGE

I’ve seen this spread a while back on a Youtube Video. These pages, in addition to the illustration of the rocket taking off, are used as both a reminder and what I hope to increase my productivity.

4. HABIT TRACKER

This habit tracker is very similar to those from the past few months. The 3 “30 Days Challenge” will be added to the daily habit tracker here amongst other habits which includes water and money tracking.

5. EXPENSE TRACKER

The expense tracker is the most important part of the journey to becoming a financially independent young lady. Although, I use the app “Fortune City” to keep track of my expenses which you can read more about how I use it here.

At the end of the money, I will collate the values into my BUJO so I have a physical copy of the expenses.

On the right side of the page, I included the beginning balance of the different accounts that I have. Long story short, the beginning balances – purchases/ expenses = ending balance. Note: You need to do so for each of the beginning balances you have and also the transfer. For more detailed instructions on how you can use this simple accounting method, do refer to this blog post here.

6. WEEKLY SPREAD

Simpler than the other spreads, this spread is simple yet functional. I split the columns into three on both pages. For my weekends, I tend to do less on those days, so I split the last column into two.

The bottom half of the page is split into two on both pages. These are the to-dos for each of the 4 areas that I am doing. My blog, course, business and potential job apps. These tasks will be allocated to the seven days across the week.

7. MUSINGS AND MEMORIES

Both of these spreads are simple but is definitely a great little self-care idea to reflect on the month. On the left, musings for used for the reflection of the good and bad. What can be improved for the next month? After all, it is all about trial and error to find out what’s best.

On the right, it will be a little summary of what happened in the month of June. It can include words or any photos taken in the month.

And there you have it. Which spread this month was your favourite? I hope it inspired you to start creating. Do keep a lookout for a BUJO Migration blog post coming up to spread ideas.
